PopeyesMenu is an independent, third-party reference site for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen menus, prices, nutrition information, and copycat recipes. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc. or its parent company, Restaurant Brands International. We exist for one reason: to give Popeyes fans the most accurate, transparent, and useful menu reference on the web.
Why we built this site
If you have ever searched “Popeyes menu prices” on Google, you already know the problem. The top results are dense, ad-heavy pages with no author, no sources, no “last verified” date, and prices that are often months or years out of date. One of the largest competing sites in this niche labels its Chocolate Chip Biscuit page “Bacon Roll with Brown Sauce” — the same content has been live and uncorrected for over a year.
We thought hungry people deserved better. PopeyesMenu was launched in 2026 by a small team of food writers, registered dietitians, and former QSR (quick-service restaurant) employees who actually eat at Popeyes — and who actually verify what they publish.
What makes us different
Three commitments shape every page on this site:
- Every price is verified at a real Popeyes location within the last 30 days. We log the date, the city, and the receipt. If we cannot verify, we mark the price as “unverified” rather than guess.
- Every nutrition figure cites its source. We pull from the official Popeyes nutrition guide and cross-check against USDA FoodData Central where possible. Estimates are clearly labeled.
- Every author is a real person with a photo, a bio, and credentials. No pen names. No AI-generated bylines. No stock-photo headshots. You can find every contributor on LinkedIn.
These three rules sound simple. None of our major competitors meets even one of them.
Our team
PopeyesMenu is run by a lean editorial team. We are intentionally small — small enough to taste-test menu items ourselves, photograph them ourselves, and answer reader emails ourselves.
Sarah Mendez — Founder & Editor-in-Chief
Sarah is a Louisiana-born food writer with eight years of experience covering Southern fast food and regional chains. Before launching PopeyesMenu, she contributed restaurant coverage to [PUBLICATION 1] and [PUBLICATION 2], and ran the food-and-drink desk at [LOCAL OUTLET]. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from [UNIVERSITY] and grew up eating Popeyes in Baton Rouge. Her first job, at sixteen, was at a fried-chicken counter — though not a Popeyes one. You can read her full bio on her [author page](/authors/sarah-mendez/) or connect on [LinkedIn]([LINKEDIN URL]).
Editorial contributors
As the site grows, we are adding contributors who bring specific expertise — registered dietitians for nutrition pages, food scientists for recipe development, and verified former Popeyes employees for behind-the-counter accuracy. Every contributor has a public author page, a photo, and verifiable credentials. See our full masthead on the [editorial policy page](/editorial-policy/).
How we make money
Transparency about revenue is part of trust. PopeyesMenu currently earns money from two sources:
- Display advertising served through [AD NETWORK NAME, e.g., Mediavine / AdThrive / Google AdSense]. Ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content.
- Affiliate links to cooking equipment and ingredients on our copycat-recipe pages. Affiliate links are disclosed inline and in our [editorial policy](/editorial-policy/). When you buy through one of our affiliate links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
We do not accept payment from Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, its franchisees, or any party with a financial interest in how a Popeyes product is reviewed or described. If that ever changes, we will disclose it on this page first.
How to reach us
We answer email. The fastest way to reach our editorial team — for corrections, story tips, partnership questions, or feedback — is the [contact page](/contact/). Direct contact details are also listed there.
